What a fun week! We've had a fabulous time dressing up this week for Spirit Week. My personal favorite was our "Pirate Day" which included an exciting treasure hunt that ended in Captain Tinnesz's office.
In math, we've been learning about place value and built towers with base 10 blocks. We also learned about adding and subtracting with regrouping. In science, we learned about the water cycle. We split into groups and chose to teach the rest of the class about the water cycle in different ways. A couple of groups made models with legos, some drew diagrams, some used the green screen, and others wrote a song. They all did a fantastic job! We were also lucky to have the author and illustrator of a children's book visit on Friday. The illustrator even taught us how to draw a peacock!
